Hammerfest Podium
Five people from Arlington-based TBG (The Bike Geeks) went on a ride. Only one of them knew that a race was going on. Trapper was the race director (and not competing). George forgot to start Strava and was unable to log his times. Your winners are:

Hammerfest Race Report

Stage 1 - Down Hill Sprint
We started it off with the wind in our faces. After turning right at the stop sign at the top of the hill, it was an all out standing sprint down the hill and across the townline marked by a changing of pavement. Pritesh and Jeff tied it up on the line.

Stage 2 - Strawberry Hill
The first hill showed up 15 miles into the ride. Since the group really didn't know this was a race, the peloton settled in for a gentle climb that saw Pritesh and Jeff once again crossing the top almost arm-in-arm.

|
Stage 3 - Nagog Hill
Nagog was the first real hill on the course. There is a respite in the middle before tacking up at the end towards to apple orchard. Jeff showed up with his climbing legs and put down a first-time attempt and the stage win!

|
Stage 4 - Oak Hill
The final stage of the day was another well-known local climb: Oak Hill. It was the group's first shot at it. Jeff once again showed his climbing legs and finished comfortably on top. His winter roller sessions seem to be paying off!
